素朴な質感が魅力的なインドのハンドメイド編みスツールです。本体側面はイネ科ヨシ属の多年草、ヨシ(葦)材を使用し、座面は柔らかいジュート(インド麻)のロープで編まれています。底面にはリサイクルゴム(タイヤチューブ)を貼り付けてあり、強度の確保とともに、滑り止めの役割も果たしています。

ラフな質感ですが、実は非常によく考えられており、各素材の良さを活かし柔らかい座り心地と十分な強度を保ちつつも、簡単に持ち運べるほど軽く作られています。また素材の特性上、湿気にも強いため、サニタリースペースや玄関まわりなどにもおすすめです。

あえてシンプルな空間に配置してエスニックな雰囲気をプラスしてみてはいかがでしょうか。
