日本デザイン界のパイオニアの1人、剣持勇がデザインした、シンプルな美しさと機能性を兼ね備えた、秋田木工スタッキングスツールNo.202。こちらは現在の大塚家具傘下では生産されていない珍しい籐座面のヴィンテージになります。都市生活向けの家具として設計されており、省スペース化を実現するためスタッキングが可能になっています。

熟練した職人の丹念な手作業で、曲木家具を生み出してきた秋田木工ですが、安い海外製品に押され、幾度か経営危機に陥ります。最終的に大塚家具の出資により完全子会社化され現在に至ります。

経年による細かな擦り傷や色ムラなどはございますが、籐座面や木組みに弛みやぐらつきはなく、日常使いには問題のないコンディションです。
